# Changelog

> What changed in Renor, newest first.

<Update label="2026-10-14" description="Conflicts between agents">
  * When one agent replaces a value that another agent saved, the old value is no longer hidden. The new value is current as before, and the reads that show it (`retrieve_memory`, `get_context`, the fact results of `search_memory` and `search_text`, and the current facts of `memory_map`) also show a `CONFLICT` line on that fact: the replaced value, the agent that saved it and its date. The line stays until that agent saves the same subject and predicate again, with either value.
  * The agent is the name its connection was given, never the `source` a call types, so a call cannot pass as another agent by naming it. A correction by the same agent replaces the value as before, with no line. Connections with no agent name count as one agent, so they still replace each other as before. There is no owner confirmation yet.
  * Replies for facts without such a conflict are unchanged, and `include_history` still returns every earlier value.
</Update>

<Update label="2026-10-12" description="Refusals, dates and ranking">
  * `remember` saved on its own as a note, `remember_note` and imports refuse a control character (U+0000 to U+001F except tab, newline and carriage return, and U+007F) and write nothing. A `remember` fact save (with `subject`, `predicate` and `object`) keeps its statement with the control characters escaped; only those three fields refuse them. One such file makes `preview_import` refuse the whole call and name the file.
  * The gateway answers a POST that declares a charset other than UTF-8 or UTF-16LE with `415 unsupported_charset`, before it forwards the call.
  * A date an imported note asserts for itself (`session_date` or `date`) that is later than the file's write time is replaced by that write time, so a future date cannot move a note to the front of `get_context`.
  * `get_context` ranks the statements its session expansion adds by how closely they match the query.

<Update label="2026-10-08" description="Launch">
  First public documentation for Renor.

  * One MCP endpoint, `https://mcp.renor.cloud/mcp`, with 19 tools.
  * Connect from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode and Pi, and from ChatGPT and Claude.ai through manual setup.
  * Facts with history (a new value replaces an old one and the old one is kept), notes by day, retire and restore, and Markdown import.
  * `export_memory` returns everything the workspace holds — the fact ledger, daily entries, notes and retired items, with their metadata — in one documented format (`renor-export/v1`), paged for a large workspace.
  * Plans: Free with 3,000 memory calls a month, Pro with 50,000 for \$10 a month.
