Both plans have the same capabilities. They differ in price and in the monthly allowance of memory calls. Free
  • Price: Free, no card required
  • Memory calls: 3,000 a month
  • Calls per minute: 30, blocked only when enforcement is on
  • Stored Markdown: 25 MB, memory writes blocked at or above this size when enforcement is on
Pro
  • Price: $10 per month
  • Memory calls: 50,000 a month
  • Calls per minute: 120, blocked only when enforcement is on
  • Stored Markdown: 250 MB, memory writes blocked at or above this size when enforcement is on
Both plans include your own workspace, durable memory across sessions and tools, global and named scopes, corrections that keep history, export, and any MCP client over one URL.

What counts as a memory call

One unit for every tool call, plus one for every further 4 KB of the text the call sends: units = max(1, ceil(bytes / 4096)). An ordinary remember is 1. A 128 KiB preview_import is 32. Never counted: memory_status, export_memory, apply_import (its preview already paid), the MCP handshake and tools/list, and the dashboard’s own reads. A call that was refused or never reached your workspace is not counted either. Counting uses UTC calendar months.

When you reach a limit

The allowances above are the numbers Renor’s code counts against. Renor counts every call; blocking at the limit is a single setting that the repository seeds off, and this page does not state whether it is on right now. When it is on, a call that would take the month past 110% of the limit (Free 3,300, Pro 55,000), or past the per-minute limit, is answered with an error that says when the month resets and where to upgrade. Export and the dashboard are never held back, so your memories stay readable. The same setting enforces storage: memory writes (including applying imports and restoring memories) are refused once the workspace stores at least 25 MB (Free) or 250 MB (Pro) of Markdown, with no storage grace. Renor measures current storage before admitting a write. A request admitted below the limit can cross it; subsequent writes are refused. If storage cannot be measured, writes are refused until it can be measured. Reads, export, status, retiring and permanent deletion remain available past the storage limit. A retired note keeps counting toward storage until you delete it permanently on the dashboard’s Memories page; retiring a log entry frees its space at once. To make room, retire what you no longer need and delete the retired notes there (export first if you want a copy), or upgrade. Export alone does not remove stored memories.

Plans

A workspace is Free unless the owner has an active subscription (a trial counts, and a payment that is past due keeps Pro for 7 days). Pro is billed monthly through Paddle.
